like most things that completely revolutionized the human experience and drastically and immediately change the course of history forever, (you know, lasers, fiber optics, velcro, the denver airport, integrated circuits, aluminum foil, etc) the original formula for MAPLE STARSHIP came straight from our benevolent overlords. but then we spent the next month drinking at Munich Christmas markets and dreaming of stacks of pancakes. a lot of late nights trying to explain to our new friends what makes maple syrup so good by drawing pictures of Canadian mounties and at the end of it all we added some apples from our very own starship Earth and well, everything has been pretty awesome ever since.
